26 JUNE 2009 26 June 2009- my last day of work at Amerex Petroleum Singapore. Its like so fast, I've been working here for 7 cool months and I really enjoy working here. It seems like I came here for interview only yesterday. And I can still vividly remember how excited yet worried about this job on my first day of work. The people here are nice, especially my manager. She really took good care of me, always buy things for me to eat and gave free movie tickets as well. I guess I would not get such good supervisor elsewhere. She's actually asking me to go back to do part time when school starts. Definitely I will do it:) 26 June 2009- a sad day for all Michael Jackson's fans. He passed away today, it was so sudden. The later part of his life was filled with rather unpleasant stuff, somehow wish that people will remember him as a performer on stage. Remember him as the King of Pop. RIP MJ. Alright, I need to finish up my stuff here and yes move on to another part of my life. UNI LIFE! liheng blogged at 4.28pm friday 26/06/2009. 17 JUNE 2009 Hello! This is my first post using my new laptop. Yeah its new, 3 day-old only. Went PC Show on Sunday with baby and Lam. The specs and price and the freebies are good, so just whack this liao. Its Asus laptop, Intel Core2Duo processor P8600 2.4ghz, 4gb ram 320 hdd for 1550 bucks including microsoft office and security. For me it seems like a good deal. HAHA NTU has finally sent me the package. But there's so many many things to do and its kind of confusing man. Still, exciting too. Cant wait to start school. I will be ending work next friday, 26 June 2009. And I'm going reservist on 1 July for a period of 18 days, damn full cycle alright. However, I'm surprisingly fine with it, cos I'm going back to my office to help out which means OFFICE HOURS. hahhaha. somemore got pay. Must aim GOLD for IPPT and marksman for shooting, easy 600 bucks!! WOOHOO!! liheng blogged at 11.06am , wednesday 17 july 2009 Finally back to update my blog. Mysteriously, my office computer has been facing problem logging onto the net for 2 weeks. Its freaking boring to work without internet. It just disrupt my life tremendously. And the engineer to fix the computer is taking forever to come down. Anyway, this is my last month of working. Come to think of it, I've been working in this office for 7 months! Oh god, that's quite long actually. I am glad that I have a nice manager who treats me real well. My other colleagues are nice people too. However, there's one female colleague who seems not to be too pleased with me. But well, other than that, everything's fine! Last Saturday was a belated birthday celebration for Justin. We were treated to a dinner at this small yet cosy restaurant at Bugis. Basil Alcove! Its an Italian restaurant providing fine-dining at reasonable prices. The interior of the restaurant which is slightly air-conditioned can seat only 6 person while the rest have to make do with the alfresco dining. It was kinda warm that evening so luckily we managed to sit inside. Food was fine and best thing about this restaurant is that its GST and service charge FREE!
